  About the Authors
    Dr. L. Duane Brown
    Dr. L. Duane Brown celebrated his 50th anniversary of ordination in June 2009. He graduated from Baptist Bible Seminary (1959) with a Th.B. and from Bob Jones University with an M.A. and Ph.D. in New Testament (1964). He has pastored in New York State; Ames, Iowa; Houston, Texas and Parsippany, New Jersey (1986-96). He also ministered as State representative for Regular Baptist Churches in New York, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He served the Lord as President of Denver Baptist Bible College and Seminary. He has traveled extensively to varioius mission fields and has hosted fifteen tours to the Holy Land. He has been Preseident of the American Council of Christian Churches and national Moderator of the Independent Baptist Fellowship of North America. He has authored Confronting Todays World (Social Issues), Forgotten Missionary Heroes, What Happened to the GARBC at Nicagra Falls? (co-author) and Biblical Basis for Baptists. Also recently published is "Forgotten Scholars" -a tribute to Dr. Kenneth Brown and Dr. Russell Camp. He and his wife, Shirley have five children, fourteen grandchildren and have retired in Ankeny, Iowa.
    Dr. Daniel R. Brown
    Dr. Daniel R. Brown, son of Duane and Shirley, graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College (B.A.), Detroit Baptist Seminary (Th.M.) and Westminster Seminary (D.Min.). He has served the Lord as Pastor for over twenty years and currently teaches at Faith Baptist Bible College and Seminary.

    Dr. Douglas Brown, son of Duane and Shirley, is the Professor of New Testament and Dean at Faith Baptist Theological Seminary.
